Snail Museum

The Snail Museum is a unique place that was created in 2011 thanks to the private collection of Professor Henryk Skarżyński.

On July 15, 2012, a Guinness Record was set in Kajetany in the category “The largest collection of objects with the likeness, image or appearance of a snail”, achieving an impressive result of 1,377 snails. Currently, the collection consists of approximately 1,400 figurines depicting snails, made of various materials, such as porcelain, ceramics, glass, wood, cast iron, amber, stone and wire.

Each model in the collection is uniquely decorated – you can find multicolored snails decorated with crystals, shells, beads and even ties. Each exhibit has its own unique story, which makes visiting the museum an unforgettable experience
